Limkuk – Demogorgon timelapse
Limkuk, Freelance Creature, and Character Artist. He shows in his timelapses his process and different techniques when sculpting a Demogorgon from Stranger Things. In this video, you can follow along at a fast pace how he creates this creature.
He uses Pixologic ZBrush for sculpting. He starts with a basic sphere and dynamesh it, then he starts by adding the larger shapes, blockouts. Then he focuses on the silhouette and adds secondary forms, finally adds detail. Later on using keyshot for rendering and compositing in photoshop.
