Damir G. Martin, creature and paleo Artist. He shows in his timelapses his process and different techniques when sculpting different types of dragons. Which is easy to understand and follow. On his vimeo, he has over 20 short timelapses for you to watch and for study, and understand his workflow.

He uses Pixologic ZBrush for sculpting. He starts with Zspheres, then he often starts with larger shapes, blockouts. Then he focus on the silhouettes and adds secondary forms, finally adds detail.
