A beautiful approach for showing the speed of time, in her final project from Vancouver Film School for the 3D and Visual Effects program. Using different well known tools and techniques. A workflow between Maya and Zbrush for detail and texturing with Mudbox and Photoshop as Mudbox is not poly dependent it’s an understandable approach. Rendered with Mental Ray using Unified Sampling. Using Brute force, which means no interpolation. Final composite made in Nuke.
Esther Lopez specializes in 3D modeling, Texturing, Shading, Lighting, Matchmove, Illustration and Fine arts. She currently works at Double Negative.

Macro is a project about the speed of time passing by. Modeled in Maya and used Zbrush for sculpt finer details and Mudbox and Photoshop for textures. It was rendered with mental with Mental Ray, using Unified Sampling and brute force. The compositing was made in Nuke
